Rosso Solini won first prize in last year's Student Enterprise Awards and Rap-It won first prize in 2010!
Tara Haughton from Cross and Passion College in Kildare won first prize in the senior category of the Student Enterprise Awards for her Rosso Solini red soles earlier in the year.
Sixteen year old Tara exports her products to over twenty countries, including America and Brazil. Rosso Solini is translating the packaging for their product into eight languages. They are also signing a new distribution deal this week with companies that are based in Australia and New Zealand.
Rosso Solini means red-sole in Italian!

The winners of the senior category in 2010 were captained by Stephen O’ Callaghan from Presentation College in Carlow.
They won first prize with their keyring called Rap-It which stopped earphones from getting tangled.
Rap-It also singned a deal with an Irish mobile phone company to sell their keyrings throughout Ireland. Senior Category winners for 2011/2012 will be awarded a trip to Italy.
