Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme. 

We are delighted that this year a LCVP class (yes whole class!) won a Judges Merit Award at Tullamore.  The LCVP class from Loreto College Crumlin won the Senior Section of the Dublin City Final of the Student Enterprise Awards in Croke Park and went on to win the Judges Merit Prize in the National Final in Tullamore.   Well done to all the girls and thier teacher Dorothy Lavery. 

Dublin City Enterprise Board offers many services which are available within the classroom.  Recognising the constraints on teachers we facilitate visits to enterprise centres throughout the Dublin Area.  We have clients located in Enterprise Centres throughout Dublin and wil be able to locate one near your school - we can even arrange for the entrepreneur to come to you within class times to minimise disruptions to school timetables. 

You can nominate if you wish a male or female entrepreneur to talk to your students and we will endeavour to meet that criteria, indeed if you would like your group to visit a business in a specific catergory we will try to match your requirements. 

We will visit your classroom and indeed can have an entrepreneur visit within class time to answer questions your students may have prepared as part of their portfolios.  We have found that this can re-inforce the lessons being taught in the classroom and students can benefit greatly from such interactions. 

All students  who receive a certificate for taking part and this can be included in their portfolio at the end of the year.
